Last Updated: October 2026

01

Introduction

Welcome to BookTicket Merchant Services! These terms and conditions govern your use of the BookTicket platform as an event organizer, venue manager, promoter, or merchant. By creating a merchant account, listing events, or utilizing our organizer digital tools and ticketing infrastructure, you agree to comply with and be bound by these terms.

02

Merchant Responsibilities

  • Merchants must create and maintain an account on BookTicket with authentic, accurate, and regularly updated business, KYC, and banking information.

  • All personal and business information provided will be securely managed in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

  • By sharing your details with BookTicket, you consent to their internal use for platform-related verification, payout processing, communication, and event operations.

  • Merchants are solely responsible for using BookTicket software and digital scanner tools to manage, validate, and execute their events effectively.

03

Event Hosting

  • Merchants must provide authentic, complete, and legally compliant details for each event hosted on BookTicket, including accurate dates, venues, artist line-ups, and capacity limits.

  • Any updates to event schedules, ticket pricing, categories, or venue features after publication are the sole responsibility of the merchant. BookTicket will provide operational support within agreed-upon service guidelines.

  • Merchants retain full control over ticket tier pricing and promotional offers. BookTicket will not be liable for any commercial losses resulting from discounts or coupon campaigns configured by merchants.

04

Promotion and Sales

  • BookTicket may promote events hosted on its marketplace across social channels and featured banners, with premium placements subject to performance-based criteria or custom agreements.

  • Merchants are responsible for monitoring their ticket sales through online portal reports or manual counters. While BookTicket provides real-time analytics, overall audit reconciliation and sales reporting remain the merchant's responsibility.

  • Merchants must strictly restrict access to their BookTicket merchant dashboard and gate-scanning credentials to authorized personnel only.

05

Financial Transactions & Settlements

  • BookTicket charges convenience fees, including gateway processing and internet handling charges, as per agreed merchant pricing tiers.

  • Additional add-on services (e.g. customized QR badges, on-ground coordinator support, WhatsApp marketing blasts) can be purchased as needed.

  • All charges and platform commissions are subject to applicable Indian government taxes (GST).

  • BookTicket deducts convenience fees, payment gateway charges, GST, and agreed commissions directly from ticket settlement revenues. Any statutory TDS deductions or merchant-side GST filings remain the merchant's responsibility.

  • Payments for BookTicket merchant software and listing packages are strictly non-refundable. BookTicket reserves the right to adjust pending dues, dispute chargebacks, or fees from future settlement disbursements.

06

Intellectual Property

  • BookTicket software, scanner mobile apps, portal APIs, and credentials are exclusively reserved for event hosting and ticketing. Unauthorized sharing, reverse engineering, scraping, or distribution is strictly prohibited.

  • Merchants may display official BookTicket branding, including the ticketing partner logo, for event marketing materials with prior approval from BookTicket.

07

Termination and Refunds

  • BookTicket reserves the right to suspend or terminate a merchant's account, delist published events, or freeze settlements in the event of fraud, counterfeit ticketing, or breach of these terms.

  • Merchants bear full commercial and legal liability for issuing attendee refunds in the event of cancellations, venue changes, or postponements as detailed in our Refund Policy. BookTicket will not be liable for organizer-driven refunds.

08

Updates to Terms and Conditions

BookTicket may update these merchant terms and conditions periodically. Merchants are encouraged to review them regularly. We value our merchant partners and welcome suggestions for refining our tools and terms. By continuing to use BookTicket Merchant Services, you agree to abide by these terms.
