DELETE ACCOUNT

If you wish to permanently delete your BookTicket account and personal data, you can do so directly from the BookTicket App in a few simple steps:

   Open the BookTicket app on your device.

   Ensure you are logged in.

   Tap on the Profile tab at the bottom right.

   Scroll down and tap Delete Account.

   Read the confirmation warning and confirm the deletion.

• Your BookTicket account is permanently removed.

• Your personal profile information (name, email, phone number) is permanently deleted or anonymized.

• Your current authenticated session is revoked immediately.

For operational, legal, and fraud-prevention reasons, some non-personally identifiable records may be retained after account deletion:

• Booking History: Your past bookings are anonymized — your personal details are removed — but the financial transaction record is kept for accounting and event organizer reporting.

• Tickets: Any purchased tickets will remain valid for the event, but they will no longer be linked to your deleted account.

• Check-in Records: Data showing when a ticket was scanned at an event is retained for security and analytics purposes.

If you no longer have access to the BookTicket app and wish to request account deletion, please email us directly at [email protected]. Please email us from the email address associated with your account, and include your registered mobile number for verification.
